A graduate of Drake University Law School. Her career included practicing law, teaching paralegal courses, and providing technology assistance to state and local courts. She became a Master Gardener in 2024 and SHED President in 2025. She is an avid student of Southeast Colorado’s native plants, vegetable gardening in Pueblo’s climate, and anything related to rainwater capture, soil health, and plant-insect-wildlife symbiosis.

Vice-President / Director
A graduate of the University of Denver with an Executive MBA. She spent her career in Risk Management, leading a claim and insurance organization. She became a Master Gardener in 2023 and is interested in vegetable and perennial gardening, native plants and volunteering. She has served as a Director since 2024 and Vice President since 2025.

A graduate of Northern Illinois University – DeKalb with a MS in Geology. She has devoted her career as a hydrogeologist, research scientist, and Geographic Information System (GIS) specialist. She became a Master Gardener in 2023 and is a freeform gardener who loves growing native perennials and anything edible as well as repurposing materials and creating garden structures from things on hand.

Mary agudelo
Treasurer / Director
A graduate of Warner Pacific University with bachelors degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. Her career has been spent in logistics and accounting. She became a Master Gardener in 2023 and is passionate about seed saving, foraging, companion gardening, and food preservation. She has served as a Director and Treasurer since 2023.

Annette charron
Director
A graduate of the University of Colorado with a MS in Public Administration and California State University with a MA in English. She teaches languages and coaches non-English speakers. She became a Master Gardener in 2018 and enjoys integrating ornamental, native, and food plants into residential landscapes. She has served as a Director since 2021.

Director
A graduate of Trinidad State Jr. College with an Associates of Applied Science in Soil Conservation. She spent her career as a construction inspector and supervisor. She became a Master Gardner in 2019 and is passionate about native plants, perennial plants and volunteering. She has served as a Director since 2025.

Louise Gunderson
Director
A graduate of the University of Colorado with a MS in Environmental Science and the University of Virginia with a PHD in Systems Engineering. Her career has been in environmental enforcement, designing and deploying autonomous robots, and solving data science problems as a consultant. She became a Master Gardener in 2023and is interested in gardens that use less water. She has served as a Director since 2024.

Peggy Hancock
Director
A graduate of Colorado State University with a BA in Recreation. She spent here career as a corrections officer. She became a Master Gardener in 2022 and enjoys all types of flowers and flower gardening. She has served as a Director since 2024.

Mary griggs
Director
A graduate of the University of California with a BA in Economics. She spent her career in environmental planning and management. She was a California Master Gardener for 20 years and became a Colorado Master Gardener in 2022. She is interested in perennials, native plants, and loves volunteering. She has served as a Director since 2024.
